Guests at The Great Escape enjoy full access to the entire home, with the exception of two locked supply closets located on the downstairs floor.

Exterior Security Cameras

For enhanced security and peace of mind, The Great Escape features exterior security cameras strategically placed around the property. These cameras are motion-activated and record video and sound, solely focusing on outdoor areas to ensure guest safety and privacy. Please note that there are no interior noise sensors or cameras within the home.

Camera Locations

• Camera 1 and Camera 2, are installed on the east side of the home.
• Camera 1 faces the driveway.
• Camera 2 monitors the porch stoop, providing comprehensive surveillance of the property’s perimeter.

Quiet Hours

In consideration of our full-time residential mountain community, The Great Escape observes quiet hours from 10 PM until 8 AM. To minimize disturbance to our neighbors, guests are kindly requested to keep noise levels down during these hours and to utilize dimmers for exterior lighting. Additionally, leaving floodlights off overnight is encouraged to avoid any unnecessary brightness affecting neighboring homes. Failure to comply with quiet hour regulations may result in early termination of the stay without a refund.

Accepting Packages

Please note that due to the absence of a mailbox, The Great Escape is unable to accept packages from USPS. Guests requiring package delivery are advised to utilize UPS or FedEx services. For items that can only be delivered via USPS, please contact us to make special delivery arrangements.

Pets Policy

Small dogs are welcome upon approval, although we do not accommodate other animals, including but not limited to cats, pigs, rabbits, and reptiles. Please note that we have specific breed and weight restrictions in place. Guests are required to present recent proof of their pet’s current flea and tick preventative upon booking. Please be aware that additional charges may be incurred for remediation of pet-related issues, such as excessive hair, strong smells, urine/feces, fleas, etc. While guests are not required to notify us if traveling with a service dog, we greatly appreciate a heads up to prevent confusion. If you are traveling with a service animal, you must show active proof of flea and tick prevention. Our aim in making this request is to facilitate a seamless travel experience for all our guests through clear communication and honesty. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Reservation Length
