Accessibility

Beats Working wants everyone to be able to explore our homes and plan a stay, including people who use assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make websites easier to use for people with disabilities.

What we have done

  • Built the site so it can be used with a keyboard alone, with visible focus outlines.
  • Used clear headings, labels and landmarks so screen readers can move through each page.
  • Added text descriptions to images that carry meaning.
  • Checked text and background colors for readable contrast.
  • Made pages work on phones and tablets, and when text is enlarged up to 200%.
  • Respected the “reduce motion” setting in your device.
  • Tested pages with automated accessibility tools and by hand.

Known limitations

  • Airbnb. Bookings happen on Airbnb, which has its own accessibility features and support.
  • Maps. Google Maps may be hard to use with some assistive technology. Each home’s area is also described in text on its page.
  • Documents. Some PDFs in the owner portal, such as scanned receipts, may not be fully accessible. Contact us and we will provide the information another way.

Home accessibility features

If you need specific features for your stay, such as step-free entry, ground-floor bedrooms or grab bars, please ask us before booking. We will tell you honestly what each home offers.

Feedback

If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information in another format, please contact us. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will work to fix it and help you in the meantime.
